the visible spectrum of argon

Ar - Argon

Argon is an inert gas used for its blue and green lumination of emission. Argonwas found by William Ramsey and Rayleigh in a 1894 experiment in which they removed all of the oxygen and nitrogen from the air. The emission spectrum of argon may be demonstrated in general chemistry.
