They're Talking About...
Road Runner
Running: Sun, Aug 6, 11:50 am ET
"I run on the roads too. I also run facing the oncoming lane, and I try to get as far over on the shoulder as possible. Also, make sure you're visible. I have a nylon vest I bought that has light reflective strips, and its bright yellow. Wear light colors, and stay aware!" --TERESA
Belted
Martial Arts: Wed, Aug 2, 12:11 am ET
"Belts are nothing. Throw them away. You don't need them. They aren't even a traditional part of Karate. They were created by Funakoshi when he tried to translate Karate from Okinawa to Japan. The Japanese, seemingly, needed more than "Beginner/Adept/Master," so he devised a five-belt system, which was later expanded into a 20-belt system." --CYANIDE72
