Colon Questions
"I have recently been diagnosed with I.B.S. I have had two colonoscopies. One doctor said I had Colitis, the other said it was I.B.D . It seems to me they are blaming stress and acting as if this is just an annoyance rather than a medical condition. It has caused me to lose work time and is ruining my social life. I feel imprisoned in my own home. Yet, it seems doctors do not take this seriously. Can anyone offer insight?"

A Mother's Nightmare
"I was 9 weeks pregnant on Sunday when I started bleeding.... when I arrived at the hospital on Sunday the doc told me that my hcg level was 12 000 and that there was no heart beat. I feel awful. I feel so cheated and scared. I don't understand what happened and I can't help feeling that the doc's were wrong. I just can't believe that something went wrong and that my precious baby isn't there anymore. It all happened so quickly and I seem to be struggling to come to grips with it all. In my darkest moments I fear that the baby was fine and that the docs were wrong."
