Welcome to the Botany chat room. This chat room may or may not be moderated . Please check the chat schedule and details below for times when a Guide or Chat Host will be on the premises.

Would you like to have live discussions with other plant lovers?  Would you like to talk live with specially chosen professional botanists, environmentalists and others about the world of plants?  Come to the Botany chat area and join in the fun.

You may find other plant enthusiasts in the chat area at most any time, so feel free to just drop in. In addition, there will be regularly scheduled chat sessions twice a month with your guide, Bryan Ness.  On the first Thursday evening of each month (7:00 - 8:30 p.m. PST) Bryan will be joined by a special guest who will help lead the discussion.   On the third Thursday of each month (7:00 - 8:30 p.m. PST) there will be a discussion on a pre-determined topic to be led by Bryan.  Mark your calendar and plan to be there.  Other events may be scheduled as well, so watch for announcements.
