A project developed by Sustrans, with National Lottery money, to enhance the C2C route across the North Pennines, and provide an artistic focal point at the geographical high spot of the 140 mile cycle tour crossing.

Skyspace Proposal Absolutely Rejected in DofEE Appeal

One year on, April 24, 1998, this entire page and its linked contents are presented entirely for historical reasons. This project, at least in terms of the C2C route at Black Hill, is absolutely dead, defunct, and lost in the dustbin of history.
