pH


As the pH of an enzymatic solution is changed the charges on the surface of the enzyme change. This results in a change in the activity of the enzyme if the group involved is either at the active site or involved in maintaining the conformation of the protein.

Again the there is an optimal pH for each enzyme catalyzed reaction.
