| Eligibility The transitional membership rate is available to all those who are about to graduate or have graduated from an accredited program 12 months prior to the application year. Transitional membership is limited to two consecutive years. Transitional Members have all the privileges of membership except the right to vote and hold office in the Society. Transitional Members receive ASM News and are entitled to subscribe to the Society's scientific journals at member rates. |
| Initiation Memberships are initiated in January each year. All applications postmarked after September 1, 2000 will become effective January 1, 2001 unless otherwise specified. Memberships processed for 2001 will be charged 2001 prices. |
