CELLS alive! on CDROM (includes the complete video library - below)

For use on one machine at a time.	CELLS alive! the CD V3.0   $80.00 In this expanded CDROM version of CELLS alive!, pages and images appear faster and free of ads. It includes the entire stock video library from Quill Graphics (described below) - over an hour of bacteria, dividing cells, & aquatic protozoa - which students may freely incorporate into reports, and teachers may use for lectures. Requires Netscape® or Internet Explorer® with QuickTime® and JavaScript capability. If you can navigate this website and play the videos, you have the hardware and software necessary for the CD.
Number of Additional Machines?	Additional Machine License   $12 to $15 per machine* Do you plan to use the CD on several machines? For classrooms and schools, this license allows creating multiple legal copies of the CD on individual machine hard drives (requires 600 megs) or to distribute the CD over a local school network. Enter only the ADDITIONAL MACHINES (the first is included with the Master CD). * 1 to 10 are $15/machine; 11 to 20, $14; 21 to 30 , $13; 31 or more, $12
	Backup CD   $30.00 With Backup CDs, you can equip more than one machine with CELLS alive! without taking up valuable hard drive space, saving about 600 megs per machine. The Backup CD can serve as an emergency archive as well. UPGRADES: Purchasers of earlier versions of CELLS alive! the CD (V2.0 or before) may order the Backup CD as an UPGRADE. The latest version (2.1) includes the BioCAMS and INDEX.

	Volumes 1 & 2   (23 min, silent): $38.00 On these volumes you will see both dividing and swimming bacteria (Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, E. coli, and Salmonella) and the body's white blood cells that are responsible for fighting bacterial infections - chemotaxis (chasing), phagocytosis (eating) and apoptosis (dying). You will see bacteria bursting in the presence of penicillin, clips of some common waterborne parasites and hatching Artemia. Each clip is preceded by a short title. 	Volumes 3 & 4   (23 min, silent): $38.00 Human lymphocytes attack deadly melanoma cancer cells. See the chromosomes during animal cell mitosis plus cell division in both melanoma and prostate cancer cells. There are clips of other cancer cells - breast and lymphoma. See red blood cells burst, blood cell platelets ruffle, and dust mites crawl. And bacteria: oil-eaters, soil-swarmers, water-tumblers - even bacteria (E. coli) being killed by a virus (bacteriophage). Each clip is preceded by a short title. View the eyespot of Euglena, the elegant tumbling of a Volvox, the leech-like movement of Rotifers, the beating heart of Daphnia and wiggling nematodes.
