Science Education 2000+ ASE is carrying out a major consultation on science education for the year 2000 and beyond, involving many of its members through regional and national meetings, through publicity in its journals and through the national network of science advisers.The discussions have focused on the future shape of the Science Curriculum for tomorrow's citizens and the implications of the scientific discoveries for their society. ASE posed important questions and a summary of the main outcomes is presented here.
