This site contains general information about Web Warrior. A Macintosh application designed to assist in the creation of HTML documents.

I am in the process of upgrading Web Warrior. I have several interesting ideas already planned, but would like to get user feedback. If you have an idea send it along.

• AppleScript Support both Scriptable, Recordable and Attachable.
• Frontier shared menu support
• Frontier ODB Text Editor support. You can edit documents in the Frontier object database using Web Warrior and they are saved back into the ODB.
• Spell checking. Including a 100,000 word dictionary.
• Support for Drag And Drop editing of text.
• Drag and Drop creation of links to images, text, and html documents.
• Relative URLs supported in Drag and Drop
• Full table and form support.
• Semi WYSIWYG editing. (no images, tables, or forms) maybe some day
• All major tags supported
• Ability to send source to browser from within the application
• Numerous command key equivalents
• User definable tags
• Find and Change ability for text and tags.

Requirements

• System 7.1 or later. (If using pre-System 7.5 the Macintosh Drag and Drop extension must be installed.)
• memory - 1 MB RAM on 68k, 1.8 MB on PPC.
• 68030 or faster processor recommended

Web Warrior Downloads

Version 1.0.6 is now available (2/18/97)

On the download page you will find access to 68k, PPC and Fat versions of the application as well as spelling dictionaries and Frontier Web Warrior scripts I have written.
